Scotland is famous for many things: Whisky, golf, haggis…..and rain. I think Scotland is great in all weathers, in fact with a little rain you are really getting the full, traditional experience. So, check the forecast and make sure to bring a rain coat if required.
Of course, on some occasions the rain will be too heavy for our tour to be enjoyable and in these instances we will cancel and refund or preferably reschedule for another day!

Absolutely, I will be available year round. Scotland can get cold but some of the most beautiful rides are on those crisp, sunny, winter days. Naturally, I will be keeping an even closer eye on the weather and temperature forecasts to avoid things like ice.

Rescheduling within that time is possible, availability dependent.

I will always endeavour to reschedule.

Gear shifters are interface that allows the rider to change the resistance required to pedal the bicycle. Good use of the gears will provide a much smoother experience. Our bikes are fitted with a single shifter, making it even simpler. Push with your thumb for less resistance (going up hill) and click with your index finger for more resistance (flat/downhill). This will be explained in person before we begin but you can watch this video if you would like to know more: (Youtube video link)
